Sample reportEstimated Composite

scale 1–36
Every report continues with ACT's reporting categories, the College Readiness Benchmarks and a review of each answer.
Each sitting follows the order of the online ACT: English, Mathematics, a short break, then Reading, with Science and the Writing essay at the end if you choose them before you start. Every test runs on its official timer.
The tools are the online ACT's: Answer Eliminator, Answer Masking, Highlighter, Line Reader and Magnifier, with the Desmos graphing calculator in Mathematics. Your report gives estimated 1–36 scores, the Composite, and STEM and ELA scores where they apply; an essay receives an automated estimate on the 2–12 Writing scale.
Not adaptive, like the real test: every student who sits a given test answers the same questions.
Your report gives estimated scores on the 1–36 scale for each test you sat, an estimated Composite of English, Mathematics and Reading, and STEM and ELA scores where they apply. An essay receives an automated estimate on the 2–12 Writing scale. It is not an ACT score.

ACT sample interface: the timer, position and navigator state are illustrative; no question is shown. Nothing here starts a test.
Every ACT practice test runs in a screen built for the exam: its clock, its way through the questions and its own tools.
Section timer you can hide; Question index with flags; Answer Eliminator, Answer Masking, Highlighter, Line Reader and Magnifier.
Not adaptive, like the real test: every student who sits a given test answers the same questions.
A full-length test needs a free account. Nothing is timed until you start.
The score summary above is where the ACT report starts. Under it is what decides your next session.
Scored questions in each reporting category with your percentage correct, then every question with its explanation.
Practice scores come from our conversion: not official scores, and not a prediction of your result on test day.

Yes. There is one free full-length test in the same format as the paid tests. You only need a free account to take it.
Published practice tests you buy stay available on your account for 12 months from the date of purchase. Tests sold before publication open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack; their 12 months of access start on the day they open. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
Practice tests, question banks and AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded. If you are charged twice by mistake, contact us and the duplicate charge is refunded.
Take the free official practice test on ACT.org first: it comes from ACT, the organisation that writes the exam. Once you have used it, our 20 full-length tests give you more sittings in the online ACT's order, tools and timing, each with estimated 1–36 scores, an estimated Composite, ACT's reporting categories and a review of every question with its explanation. They are our own questions, not ACT material, and the scores are our estimates.
