Refunds and access

What you get when you buy, how long it lasts, and when it is refunded. The same rules apply on the product pages, at checkout and in our terms.

What you are buying

Practice tests and question banks are digital products. Published tests and banks open after payment. Practice packs can also be bought before their tests are published; any remaining tests open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack. Every purchase is a one-off payment: there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

How long access lasts

  • Practice tests. Published practice tests you buy stay available on your account for 12 months from the date of purchase. Tests sold before publication open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack; their 12 months of access start on the day they open. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. Each test can be sat up to 2 times.
  • Question banks. Access lasts 120 days (240 days for an AP subject's bank) from the day your plan opens and covers the sections the plan names. ACT, IELTS, TOEFL and TR-YOS plans open when every section they cover has questions, straight away if they do now; other banks open after payment. When access ends, it simply stops; buying the same plan again adds a new window from the end of the current one.
  • Free items. The published free full-length tests, and the fixed free samples of the SAT, ACT, TR-YOS, 2 AP subjects, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL and PTE banks, are available with a free account and are not time-limited.

Refunds

Practice tests, question banks and AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded. If you are charged twice by mistake, contact us and the duplicate charge is refunded.

  • Something went wrong on our side. If a test you bought does not appear in your account, or a technical fault on our side stops you finishing a sitting, contact us and we will restore your access.

AI Tutor time

AI Tutor minutes are added to your account the moment the payment goes through, and you confirm before paying that you want them straight away. Minutes you do not use stay on your account and carry over to your next practice test.

Charged twice, or something not working

Use the contact form with the address on your account and the receipt reference from your Stripe confirmation email. A duplicate charge goes back to the original payment method.
