- Not adaptive: a printed booklet that every candidate in the session answers in full.
- Scoring
- Each test's raw score is correct answers minus a quarter of wrong answers. ÖSYM turns the raw scores into standard scores across everyone in the session, weights them 0.45 (Numerical Aptitude) and 0.55 (Basic Mathematics), and reports a TR-YÖS score from 100 to 500.
- Calculator
- No calculator: calculators are on ÖSYM's list of items not allowed in the exam building.
- Delivery
- Taken on paper at an ÖSYM exam centre: a question booklet and an answer sheet.

- Every question is multiple choice with five options and one correct answer.

Scoring and differences
Your report gives each test's net (correct minus a quarter of wrong) and a weighted net in ÖSYM's 0.45 and 0.55 proportions. The 100–500 TR-YÖS score is normed against everyone in a session, so it cannot be worked out from one paper and none is given.

Questions
How many times can I take each TR-YOS practice test?
Each test can be sat up to 2 times. If you close the tab in the middle of a sitting, your answers are saved and the same sitting resumes when you return.
Is the test in English?
Yes. ÖSYM prints each question in Turkish beside the candidate's chosen language; our tests show the English version only, and the solutions are in English.
Can I use a calculator?
No. Calculators are not allowed in the exam, and the practice tests have none either.
Which plan includes Geometry?
Full access, which covers Numerical Aptitude, Mathematics and Geometry. The other plans cover the sections in their names.
Can I try the bank before buying?
Yes. With a free account you can practise the bank's 30 sample questions across Numerical Aptitude, Mathematics and Geometry, the same set for everyone; each answer is marked right or wrong, and the correct answers and solutions open with a plan. A plan opens the sections it covers for its full access period.
