scale 0–9
Every report continues with comments on each Writing and Speaking task and a right-or-wrong list for Reading and Listening.
Each sitting runs Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking on the official timings, in the computer-delivered layout. The Listening recording plays once, straight through its four parts, followed by two minutes to check your answers.
Listening and Reading are marked against the answer key and converted to bands. Your Writing tasks and your recorded Speaking answers receive an automated estimate against the four published criteria, with comments on each task, and the report gives an overall band.
Not adaptive, like the real test.

IELTS sample interface: the timer, position and navigator state are illustrative; no question is shown. Nothing here starts a test.
Every IELTS practice test runs in a screen built for the exam: its clock, its way through the questions and its own tools.
The computer-delivered layout: split screen in Reading, navigation bar with answered, unanswered and flagged questions; Highlight and notes by right-click; Text size and contrast settings.
Not adaptive, like the real test.
A full-length test needs a free account. Nothing is timed until you start.
The score summary above is where the IELTS report starts. Under it is what decides your next session.
Writing and Speaking are scored by AI against the band descriptors, with feedback on each task; Listening and Reading list every answer.
Practice scores come from our conversion: not official scores, and not a prediction of your result on test day.

Not here. On the real test Speaking is a live interview with an examiner. In our sitting you answer the three parts aloud and record yourself with your microphone, and the recordings are rated automatically.
Yes, for the speaking tasks. Use a current version of Chrome, Edge or Safari, allow microphone access when asked, and use headphones so the prompt audio is not picked up by the microphone.

Yes. There is one free full-length test in the same format as the paid tests. You only need a free account to take it.
Published practice tests you buy stay available on your account for 12 months from the date of purchase. Tests sold before publication open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack; their 12 months of access start on the day they open. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
Practice tests, question banks and AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded. If you are charged twice by mistake, contact us and the duplicate charge is refunded.
