Adaptation
Module-adaptive
Your Module 1 score routes you to an easier or a harder Module 2 in each section, the same two-stage design the real test uses.
The 10- and 20-test packs include the advanced performance analysis: accuracy by section, topic and subtopic; results on easy, medium and hard questions; time use in practice tests (rushed, on time, slow); your 6 weakest topics, each with a link to practise it in the question bank; weekly progress chart.
Not adaptive, like the real test: every student who sits a given test answers the same questions.

Not adaptive, like the real exam: one booklet of 80 questions that everyone who sits the test answers.

After your first Verbal and first Quant section, you are routed to an easy, medium or hard second section based on how many you answered correctly.

Questions are drawn from the GMAT bank while you work: difficulty steps up after a correct answer and down after a wrong one, with topics rotated so the same topic does not repeat back to back.

Four fixed 35-minute sections of original English questions, with a locked 10-minute break after section two. The variable section stays hidden during the test and is labelled after completion.

Reading and Listening are two-stage, as on the real test: your first module routes you to an easier or a harder second module. Writing and Speaking are the same for everyone.

Full-length practice tests for 31 AP subjects, each on its own exam's parts and timers, with every free-response answer estimated against its scoring guidelines. 120 tests are published in 12 subjects. Some packs include tests that open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack.
Sections, question counts and timers follow the format each exam's owner publishes today, checked against the official source.
Adaptive where the exam is
SAT modules, GRE sections, GMAT questions and TOEFL Reading and Listening adapt the way each real test does. ACT, TR-YOS, 31 AP subjects, Law School Admission Test, IELTS Academic and PTE Academic are not adaptive, and neither are our tests for them.
Test-day tools
Mark for review, answer elimination, calculators where the exam provides one, and the SAT reference sheet.
Saved as you go
Answers are saved while you work. On the SAT, ACT, TR-YOS, 31 AP subjects, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and PTE tests, close the tab mid-sitting and the same sitting resumes; take the IELTS and TOEFL tests in one go.
A full report
Results in each exam's own terms, with clearly labelled practice estimates and every answer with its explanation. LSAT reports exact scored correct answers out of 78 and one practice estimate; its writing is never scored.

How the sitting adapts
Questions are drawn from the GMAT bank while you work: difficulty steps up after a correct answer and down after a wrong one, with topics rotated so the same topic does not repeat back to back.
A short set on that area alone, then a fresh full-length test.
After the test: the AI Tutor
When a practice test ends, pick a mistake on your results page and the lesson starts. The tutor won't just read out the answer: it asks you, writes the steps on the board and lets you find where you went wrong.

What is the difference between a practice test and a question bank?
A practice test is a full-length, timed sitting in the structure of the real exam. It tells you where you stand and ends in an exam-specific score report and a review of every question. A question bank is for targeted practice: you choose a section, topic, skill and difficulty, answer a set of questions, then review every answer with its worked explanation. Most students use the test to find weak areas and the bank to fix them.
Are the practice tests adaptive?
Only where the real exam is, and in the same way. Your Module 1 score routes you to an easier or a harder Module 2 in each section, the same two-stage design the real test uses. On the GRE, after your first Verbal and first Quant section, you are routed to an easy, medium or hard second section based on how many you answered correctly. On the GMAT, questions are drawn from the GMAT bank while you work: difficulty steps up after a correct answer and down after a wrong one, with topics rotated so the same topic does not repeat back to back. On the TOEFL, Reading and Listening are two-stage, as on the real test: your first module routes you to an easier or a harder second module. Writing and Speaking are the same for everyone. ACT, TR-YOS, 31 AP subjects, Law School Admission Test, IELTS Academic and PTE Academic are not adaptive, and neither are our tests for them.
How many times can I take each test?
Each test can be sat up to 2 times. On the SAT, ACT, TR-YOS, 31 AP subjects, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and PTE tests, if you close the tab in the middle of a sitting, your answers are saved and the same sitting resumes when you return. On the IELTS and TOEFL tests, take each sitting in one go: closing the tab or reloading the page can lose the answers of the section you are in.
Are the scores official?
No. Your report gives an estimated score on each exam's own scale, converted from your answers by our scoring. It is a practice estimate, not a score from College Board, ACT, ÖSYM, ETS, GMAC, LSAC, IELTS or Pearson, and it is not a prediction of your result on test day.
How long does access last?
Published practice tests you buy stay available on your account for 12 months from the date of purchase. Tests sold before publication open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack; their 12 months of access start on the day they open. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. Question-bank access lasts 120 days (240 days for an AP subject's bank) from the day it opens. SAT, GRE, GMAT, PTE and the AP banks open after payment. ACT, IELTS, TOEFL and TR-YOS plans open when every section they cover has questions, straight away if they do now. It is a fixed window, not a subscription: it does not renew and you are never charged again automatically.
What do I need to take a test?
A free account and a current browser. Use a laptop or desktop for full-length tests, as on test day. The question banks also work on a phone. IELTS, TOEFL and PTE speaking tasks need a working microphone.
Can I get a refund?
Practice tests, question banks and AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded. If you are charged twice by mistake, contact us and the duplicate charge is refunded.
