AP Physics C: Mechanics · Score summary
Sample reportEstimated AP score
4
scale 1–5
Every report continues with multiple choice by unit and each free-response answer estimated row by row against its scoring guidelines.
Each sitting runs the exam's parts in order on their own timers: Section I (42 multiple-choice, 85 minutes), Section II (4 free-response, 95 minutes), with the 10-minute break after Section I. Mark for Review, the option eliminator, highlights and notes, the Desmos calculator where the exam allows one and College Board's reference sheet are on hand, as in Bluebook.
On the real exam the free-response answers are handwritten in a paper booklet. Here you can type them, or write them on paper and photograph the pages with your phone through a QR code; either way each answer is estimated row by row against the question's scoring guidelines.
Your report gives an estimated AP score from 1 to 5 and the composite behind it, multiple choice by unit, and every free-response question with the points earned and missed. College Board publishes no cut scores, so the 1–5 score is our estimate.
Not adaptive, like the real exam: everyone who sits a given test answers the same questions.
Multiple-choice answers are marked at hand-in. Each free-response answer gets an automated estimate against the question's scoring guidelines, row by row. The report weights them as the exam does and converts the composite to an estimated AP score from 1 to 5 with our estimated cut-offs, because College Board publishes none. It is not a College Board score.
