What one sitting is like

Each sitting has the three 45-minute sections at their official lengths: 21 Quantitative Reasoning, 23 Verbal Reasoning and 20 Data Insights questions. You choose the section order, and an optional break is offered between sections.

Questions are drawn from the GMAT bank while you work, so the difficulty follows your answers. At the end of each section, the review screen lets you revisit bookmarked questions and change up to three answers, as the real exam allows.

Your report
Your report opens the moment you hand the test in: your score, a section-by-section breakdown, and anything still being scored, named and added as it arrives.
AI Tutor
Your GMAT test is over and your report is open: pick a mistake on your results page and the AI Tutor starts from there. It asks you the question and writes the steps out on the board, so you find where you went wrong rather than being handed the answer. The first 2 mistakes are free, for up to 10 minutes.

How it compares with the real GMAT

Adaptation

Questions are drawn from the GMAT bank while you work: difficulty steps up after a correct answer and down after a wrong one, with topics rotated so the same topic does not repeat back to back.

Interface and tools

  • Choose your section order
  • Section timer and optional break
  • Bookmarking, with a review screen at the end of each section where you can change up to three answers
  • On-screen calculator in Data Insights
  • Data Insights formats: Data Sufficiency, Table Analysis, Two-Part Analysis, Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation

Scoring and differences

Your report gives estimated section scores on the 60–90 scale and an estimated total on the 205–805 scale, calculated from the difficulty and accuracy of your answers. It is not a GMAC score.

  • Each sitting is assembled while you answer, so two of your sittings will not be identical, but occasional repeats across sittings are possible.

Questions

How many times can I take each GMAT practice test?

Each test can be sat up to 2 times. If you close the tab in the middle of a sitting, your answers are saved and the same sitting resumes when you return.

Why are my GMAT sittings different each time?

Because each sitting is assembled while you answer, as the real exam is. Two sittings will not be identical, although a question can occasionally reappear in a later sitting.

Is the score official?

No. Your report gives estimated section scores on the 60–90 scale and an estimated total on the 205–805 scale, calculated from the difficulty and accuracy of your answers. It is not a GMAC score.

Is there a free GMAT test?

Yes. There is one free full-length test in the same format as the paid tests. You only need a free account to take it.

How long does access last?

Published practice tests you buy stay available on your account for 12 months from the date of purchase. Tests sold before publication open automatically once enough new tests are published to fill the remainder of your pack; their 12 months of access start on the day they open. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.

Can I get a refund?

Practice tests, question banks and AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded. If you are charged twice by mistake, contact us and the duplicate charge is refunded.
